![]() ![]() ![]() It avoided some awkwardness, even if there was slight drama near the end, understandably. It was interesting that Daphne admitted her crush to her bestfriend, Jacob’s daughter. I personally think that this information should’ve been exploited a little bit more. She was supposedly a music student who played piano, but it was kind of just mentioned. The only thing that I somewhat liked was the fact that she was able to initiate some of the interactions that she had with Jacob. ![]() I usually love sweet personalities like that but she came off a little bit boring to me. Truthfully, she was a little bit forgettable. It was still enjoyable, just not what I was expecting.ĭaphne was meek, innocent and gentle. I was interested by the beginning, the premise, the age gap but, something was missing in the end. It’s a little bit weird because I feel like this novella did everything right, but I didn’t really connect to the story as much as I would've liked, if that makes sense. ![]()
